John Q. Hammons declares bankruptcy to focus on legal issues

A Missouri hotel chain with nearly three dozen properties in 16 states declared Chapter 11 bankruptcy to help it deal with ongoing legal battles. John Q. Hammons Hotels & Resorts filed the action on Sunday in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Kansas City, Kansas, less than a month before a trial scheduled in Delaware over whether it must sell its properties.

Tenth year for Red Lion in Boundary as management celebrate being rated 16th in the county

Management at a village pub are celebrating their tenth year at the establishment as well as the pub being rated one of the best in the county. The Red Lion in Boundary, near Cheadle, has recently reached number 16 out of 1,625 venues in Staffordshire on Tripadvisor.
