A tea drinker in Paris is spoilt for choice, but no other place can satisfy as well as the Angelina Tea House. Although they’re best known for their decadent hot chocolate, this place isn’t called a tearoom for nothing. Enjoyed within the charming Belle epoque space, their remarkably unique selection of teas offer an incredibly luxurious experience.

The Angelina Tea House‘s most popular tea is the Mont-Blanc. Inspired by the tearoom’s famed pastry, the Thé Mont-Blanc is a blend of black teas delectably infused with flavors of candied chestnuts, biscuit, toffee, maple syrup, orange blossom, apricot, papaya, and apple. The scent itself is exquisite, and the taste is unexpected.

The Mont-Blanc tea pairs very well with its namesake pastry but if you’d like something different, try the Paris-New York. This Angelina classic is a delightful chou pastry with a pecan praline light cream and topped with a crunchy pecan praline heart. Its light but sweet flavor will complement any tea selection. Another great option would be the Millefeuille. This well-loved dessert is made of layers of caramelized puff pastry accompanied by light vanilla cream.

Before you go, make sure you pick up some tea for you to enjoy at home. The Mont-Blanc tea is a popular choice, but you may also want to try Angelina’s Special Flavored Tea. This is an oolong tea with marigold and safflower petals, infused with flavors of apricot, mango, and sweet orange, and enhanced by pineapple pieces. The scent alone with take you back to your marvelous Angelina Tearoom experience.
