Several brokerages have updated their recommendations and price targets on shares of Carnival plc in the last few weeks: 1/22/2016 – Carnival plc was downgraded by analysts at Zacks Investment Research from a “buy” rating to a “hold” rating. According to Zacks, “Carnival Corporation & plc is the largest cruise company in the world, with a portfolio of 10 cruise brands in North America, Europe, Australia and Asia, comprised of Carnival Cruise Line, Holland America Line, Princess Cruises, Seabourn, AIDA Cruises, Costa Cruises, Cunard, P&O Cruises , P&O Cruises and Fathom.

Indian review site Zomato has thrown down the gauntlet here in the west, challenging American-based site Yelp in a battle to capture the attentions of Perth foodies. Yelp launched in Australia in 2011, a time when the #foodporn trend was in full flight and informal restaurant reviews peppered individual social media accounts – or a relatively new smartphone app called Urbanspoon.

Paul Rossington should receive Australia’s highest bravery award for jumping overboard in attempting to save the life of his girlfriend Kristen Schroder, who fell from their cabin balcony on the last night of a cruising holiday, an inquest has heard. Mr Rossington, 30, was captured on infrared camera executing a “safety-type jump” into the waters off the NSW mid north coast at 8.48pm on May 8, 2013.

Friends of Bethany Farrell have made claims that a tourism business in Australia deleted photos of her taken shortly before she drowned at the Great Barrier Reef FRIENDS of a Southampton graduate who drowned during a diving trip on the Great Barrier Reef claim staff deleted photos that were taken shortly before the doomed young woman left the boat. Bethany Farrell, 23, died earlier this year while in Australia, a week into her dream gap-year when she went scuba diving for the first time.
